Jodi received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychiatric Social Work at Sacred Heart University in Bridgeport, CT, and joined SMAEC in 2018.

She loves large dogs, cooking, and gardening.  She has owned her own party goods store and planned parties and catered events.

She doesn’t currently have any animals living with her, but enjoys spending time with her family pets, Susie, Stash, and Casey, in Asheville, NC.

Justin goes where the work is meaningful and aligned with a dedicated team for collective education and wellness of clients, whether external or internal to the brand. He holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, focused on strategic human resources management and corporate leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, focused on program management for underdeveloped/underserved countries, communities, and identities. Justin has worked in animal-centric and violence-prevention fields, from Alaska to New Hampshire, including his home origin of the greater Washington, D.C. area. Professional life aside, Justin enjoys foreign films, painting, and time with his spouse and their one-eyed cat, Ms. Bear.

Katie joined SMAEC in July 2016. She graduated in 2018 from Dakota County Technical College with her Veterinary Technician Degree. She loves all kinds of animals, but her favorites are cows and sea turtles. In Katie’s free time she enjoys attending and showing at car shows, going antique shopping and spending time with family. She shares her home with her two silly Boxers Clyde and Castle.

Kendra has a Master of Arts in Teaching from Belmont University , Medical Lab Technician Degree from North Hennepin Community College, and Bachelor Degree in Animal Science from New Mexico State University.  She enjoys doing senior care in her free time and playing the flute. Kendra has two dogs named Anisley and Lizzie. Also, five cats named Mackie, Olive, Fiona, Dove, and Crimson.
